About Lilo
Lilo is a playful pup. She loves to chew on everything and loves to play with toys and bones. She sleeps in the crate all night. She usually goes potty when you take her out regularly but still has some accidents (this might be due to her medication). She has learned to sit when given treats and sure loves to eat. She follows you around the house and is always looking for attention. She could do well with another small dog or be an only dog, as sometimes she is a little cautious.
Lilo’s Heart — Important Information
Lilo had corrective heart surgery to fix her PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus) and has done very well in recovery. However, she does have some residual flow — due to the extensive damage done to her heart, it is taking her heart some time to remodel after the corrective heart surgery. She will need to see her cardiologist at OSU in 6 months. She takes one medication daily. She has started her vaccines but is behind for her age. She will also not be able to be fixed for 6 months.
Adoption Fee
No specific adoption fee is stated on Lilo’s profile. The rescue’s standard range for puppies is $250–$900. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchipping, and up-to-date vaccinations for the pet’s age. A $20 application fee also applies.
